Hanne Steen

Hanne grew up moving between North America, Western Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. She trained as an actress in London and worked in British television and theater for a decade before moving to Los Angeles to pursue writing. She is co-founder of mutli-media platform Herclayheart, whose on-going project 'Lovers Shirts' went viral in 2014 and continues to gain attention around the world. She was a 2014 PEN Emerging Voices Fellow and currently teaches creative writing at Writopia.
