As a longtime resident of New Orleans, I fled to El Dorado, Arkansas, on the run from Hurricane Katrina and lived there for eight years. Now living in Biloxi, Mississippi, other residences included locations as diverse as Kansas, South America, Houston, New Jersey, California, and various communities in Texas and Arkansas.
In college, Shakespearean plays and baseball complemented academic performance that led to placement on various honors lists. Scholarships and part time work allowed for a Master's degree which, in turn, qualified me for teaching and counseling positions later on. Part time jobs included working as a barroom bouncer (talk about job stress!) and doing construction work.
Using the pseudonym, Clayton Carpenter, I am the author of the crime drama, SHADOW OF TURNING and the thriller, THE ANNUNAKI WOMAN. Visit www.shadowofturning for information about both novels. I can be found online at firstname.lastname@example.org or at email@example.com.
