Michael Schwartz is a veteran film editor living in New York. Learning editing as a reporter and copy editor at People Magazine and having studied film and journalism at Columbia University, he enjoys a history of working at the finest commercial editing companies in New York including Dennis Hayes and Associates, Editing Concepts and Breathe Editing. Receiving many awards along the way including being part of a permanent exhibit called "The Art of the Television Commercial" in the Museum of Modern Art in the category of "Editing" for the Fedex commmercial, "Applause", Michael works on such national general market brands as AT&T, Campbell's Soup, Bayer, Jeep and many more. With a passion for unscripted lifestyle work, Michael is accomplished as a writer, director and editor in the world of documentary, short film and both music video and promotion. Michael is also the proud recipient of many awards including Telly's, Monitor and New York Festival Awards.
