A husband and father to a one year old daughter, our first. With no skill set in carpentry of any kind, I was given the opportunity to learn how to build large scale sets for theater productions at a local playhouse. Between building new sets and tearing down old ones, I stayed on during every run of show acting in various backstage roles; including Stage Manager and Head Fly Loft Operator. After three years as the second to the Lead Set Builder, I was handed over the title of Head Carpenter & Lead Set Builder. I continued in this postion for seven more years when a new oppurtunity I had always hoped for opened up and allowed me to progress further in my skill set. For the last five years I have been an Entertainment Technician working in Orlando Florida at the Walt Disney Company. I hold certifications in CM motor inspections and as an ETC Rigging Installer. Another certification I have achieved is in SPRAT as a Level Two Rope Access Technician. My entire life has basically been one large install leading into one large strike- and repeat. It sounds boring, but it is hard work and I honestly love it. Growing up I always wanted to make movies and write movies. I have always kept at it with the hope that I will succeed to walk through that door one day as well.
