Pablo Omar Zaragoza, a retired Cuban American pathologist, now pursues his other passion: writing. Pablo uses his medical knowledge to authenticate some of his stories. His does extensive research to add color and believable character development. Having learned English by reading comic books at a very young age after his family emigrated from Cuba, Pablo enjoys writing about vampires, demons, ghosts, trolls, and such, but he is equally comfortable developing a crime/detective series, historical fiction, thrillers, romantic comedy, the paranormal, and horror stories. He writes daily, which he believes is a necessary discipline for anyone who aspires to become a serious author. To date, we has had 11 novels published with another 12 in the wings. Positive feedback encourages him to continue writing; he has received awards and 5-star reviews from notable international book awards competitions. Coming from experienced judges who critique on the merit of his writing and not by knowing him personally, these accolades mean a lot to him, but he does not rest on his laurels. He was particularly gratified to share his stories with the public at the 2019 Miami Book Fair. I, Susan Giffin, serve as his first-line editor and manager.
